ASoP-ASCPT Joint Membership
Communication from the boards of ASoP and ASCPT
Dear ASoP members,
For those of you that are also members of the Clinical Pharmacology community, we are pleased to announce a dual membership option with the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) and the American Society of Pharmacometrics (ASoP). The Boards of Directors of ASCPT and ASoP have unanimously approved this partnership. This option will be available to current ASoP members as well as those who register in the future; if you are a current ASCPT member you will receive the discount when you renew your 2012 dues for ASCPT.
We believe that the benefits of joint membership will be a key opportunity for our many members with an interest in pharmacometrics, modeling and simulation. In the current economic environment, both ASCPT and ASoP believe that the benefits of joint membership in our respective organizations will benefit our members at a cost saving. Members will be able to join both organizations with a single membership fee and receive benefits of both organizations, including a subscription to Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, as well as reduced registration fees for the annual meetings.
Members wishing to take advantage of the joint membership will enjoy a $45 discount on the total cost of their dues to ASCPT and ASoP. See below for information on how to sign up for joint membership.
